Tim Queener

Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, Tim Queener came to Nashville and completed his Bachelor’s in Religion at Trevecca Nazarene University in 1988. From there, Tim narrowed his purpose in ministry to inner city youth ministries beginning in Kansas City in 1991 and returning to South Nashville to work with Metro and Boys and Girls Club for eight years. Due to his background in vocational school, construction, and ministry, Tim was a great fit as Director of Workforce Training when the YMCA began the Y-Build program in 2004. As Y-Build transitioned to 4:13 Strong in 2015, Tim made the transition along with it. In his role, Tim is now responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing all workforce training as well as overseeing each participant’s progress through the training program.
