Joseph Ravenell

Joe Ravenell serves as an investigator at the Federal Public Defender Office, where he is dedicated to ensuring that defense attorneys uphold the constitutional right to a fair defense. With over 22 years of experience in the defense field and 21 years as a federal law enforcement special agent, Joe has developed a proven track record in investigations, financial crimes, physical security, and intelligence investigations.

In addition to his professional work, Joe is deeply committed to community service. He has volunteered through church ministries and has mentored individuals both in and out of prison, demonstrating his passion for helping men navigate their challenges and find new paths to success.

As a member of the board of directors for 413 Strong, Joe brings valuable insights from his previous board experience at Reconciliation House and his managerial roles within federal law enforcement. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from South Carolina State University.

Joe Ravenell is passionate about empowering men who are in trouble with the law, helping them seek positive change, and guiding them in their efforts to raise and lead their families.
