Stephen Jones

Stephen E. Jones, Sr. is a native Nashvillian. He was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus in 1983 and ordained in 1985. In 1988, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from American Baptist College where he majored in Biblical Theology and minored in English. Mr. Jones has postgraduate studies at Morehouse School of Religion and Vanderbilt School of Divinity. Realizing the hand of God upon his life, Mr. Jones has a passion for the underprivileged, uneducated, and uninformed. He served as a Transitional Living Counselor at Samaritian Recovery Community for several years, and in addition to his role as Workforce Retention Specialist, he serves as a House Manager at 4:13 Strong. “Bishop”, as he is affectionately called in the 4:13 Strong community, is proud father of Vatoria and Stephen Jr. and his grandsons, Jairus and Stevion Jones. Stephen is the Minister of Evangelism at First Baptist South Inglewood.
